W/C J. Gosnell, 571 Sqdn., Operation Boring 1.1.1945
Hello,
I search for an picture from W/C J. Gosnell. He was the pilot of Mosquito XVI, MH 169, 8K.K and attack the RR-Tunnel near my hometown at 1. January 1945 with an 4.000lbs MC Bomb. Thanks for help! h. |

Just a minor note, MH169 is not a valid serial for a Mosquito.
MM169 perhaps? |

Hello,
I was wrong, W/C Gosnell must be ML 963, but my sources say MH 169 for F/L N.J. Griffiths Mosquito XVI. His target was Metterich RR-Tunnel. h. |

Your source is wrong, MH169 was an Avro Anson. Andy's suggestion makes very much sense MM169 was a Mosquito XVI and used by 571 Sq Cheers Stig |
