Losses And Claims Over Malta 1940-1942

Can anyone recommend a good book that details 'claims' and 'actual losses' suffered by the RAF, Regia Aeronautica and the Luftwaffe during the two years of this epic struggle?

There was talk of a book like BofB T&N but with the demise of After The Battle I think this has been shelved. I am aware of one book which lists crashes on or around Malta and can send you details if you want

Jim,

Author BRIAN CULL who is a member of this Board may be of assistance. He has written quite a lot about MALTA (Hurricane Years, Spitfire Years, etc.).

By the way, it would be nice to see the biography of your late father completed and read it! Hope you have read that one I recommended you on the last time we talked.

NICK BEALE who is a member also of this Board do have a tremendous knowledge on the Mediterranean and Italian Campaign...

If you can not find what you are seeking, just ask for the LW losses on the LW Board, that maybe Members of this Board can be of assistance.

Semper Fi,
Adriano and Family

I presume that is the same book as I have titled 'Battle over Malta - Aircraft losses & crash sites 1940-42'
by Anthony Rogers?

Or did he write another one?

Cheers
Stig

Hardback Greenhill 2017 for mine. Another example of publishers not telling us the book had been published before???

Sounds like you have either a second edition or more likely an updated book, most likely with more data....
