10/JG 11 losses on 30 June 1944
I am looking for the numbers of losses suffered by 10/JG 11 on the 30 June 1944 in Belarus. I know that they were equipped with Fw 190s but did they have any Bf 109s in the Gruppe?

Re: 10/JG 11 losses on 30 June 1944
10/JG 11 was at the invasion front in France. What is your source for losses in Russia at that time?

Re: 10/JG 11 losses on 30 June 1944
If you look at Tony Woods list for the Eastern Front, you will see that 10./JG 11 were serving there on the 30 June 1944 and thus the inquiry of their losses that day. Prien’s 13/V indicates they left France for Russia, probably because of the collapse of Army Group Center

According to the NVM Leonhards was from 11./JG 11. However, because he was in transit flight (Absturz bei Landung bei Überführungsflug und Flugzeug ausgebrannt. Bruch 100 %), the aircraft may have been from another Staffel.

Re: 10/JG 11 losses on 30 June 1944
Now I have been looking into the matter. Order to rename different Staffeln and set up of each Gruppe with four Staffeln was given 15 july 1944. End date of reorganization 20. august 1944. So here is goes. 10/JG 11 renamed 4/JG 11 moved to I/JG 11. 7/JG 11 is renamed 10/JG 11 and stays within III/JG 11. 8/JG 11 is renamed 11/JG 11 and 11/JG 11 renamed 13/JG 11. Both stays witin III/JG 11.
No wonder that confusion arise. ;-) Junker |

Re: 10/JG 11 losses on 30 June 1944
From the answers so far it seems that there were no losses to dogfights to 10/JG 11 or other Staffel of that unit serving in Russia (Belarus) that day.

I'm still looking for a document that mentions the word Alarmstaffel. I have just seen A-Staffel. In different books you see Aalborgstaffel, Alarmstaffel and Ausbildungsstaffel.
