John's comments agree with the details, however flimsy, in my lost lists.

As an aside, I also have 7 losses of Bf110G-2s in Aug.43 through Oct.43 for I./ZG26 with the S9 ID. Refugees from ZG 1?

George,

A case of taking available operational aircraft with them, and not bothering to change the fuselage code? Or if they didn't move anywhere, simply being told: 'You are now I./ZG 26 on paper' (but not on the ID of their aircraft).
