Claim is shared betwine 249 Squadron Fl/Lt John Beatson (RAAF) in Spit Vc JK465 GN-X, and F/Sgt Clive Fowler Jacobson (RNZAF) in Spit Vc ES306 GN-T

The problem is Ju 52/3m W. Nr. 10138 claim for 3. december. It was attacked by 7 planes. Who have putt claime for it?

Sorry I can't throw any further light on the incident,

According to 249 at War Flt Lt Beatson and Flt Sgt Jacobsen were scrambled from Brindisi to investigate low level activity in the area of Berat. They crossed over Valona Lagoon at low level, and flew to Berat.

Beatson logged

"I saw a JU52 take off from the 'drome and, as it was climbing north and at about 400ft, we attacked from over the top of the hill. I approached from starboard and slightly above and opened fire at 150 yrds from an angle of 30', giving a two seconds burst of cannon which set the port motor on fire and the aircraft proceeded to glide gently towards the hills. My No.2, Sgt Jacobsen, attacked, setting the central motor on fire. The machine went completely out of control and crashed in flames. No one got out of it."

The date that I'am seeking info is Decembar 4th 1943. Around 14:00.
The plane is confirmed Ju 52/3m W. Nr. 10138 that crashed killing 17 germans.
It was attacked by 7 allied fighters.

7 or 2

In this case, as the Allied combat report is available, I will rather believe it than the German loss report.

Two possibilities to explain the discrepencies:
1) Allied fighters were counted in each attack they did.

2) the German document is of bad quality and the 2 became a 7 by losing its low bar.

Ok we have established fate of the "Albanian" Ju 52/3.

The case I was talking about has happened December 4th or 3th 1943. in Yugoslavia, close to town Dubrovnik (now Croatia). The farmers have seen Ju 52/3m that was attacked by 7 fighters.

It was brought down a mile from Adriatic sea, in hillside.
There were no survivers. 17 Germans were killed.
Ju 52/3m is from II/TG 4 W. Nr. 10138. The crew were: Uffz Hans Meiner, Uffz. Wilhelm Breul, Uffz. Wilhelm Berkle. Ogefr. Hans Gias, Uffz. fritz Frohrig and 12 passingers.

If Beatson and Jacobsen have brought down "Albanien" Ju 52, who have brought down the one mentioned???

Is this solution:"1 December 1943 a JU52 of II/TG4 was claimed by Fly Off Brooks (JK366 GN-H) this was also claimed by 1/Lt Robert H Wagner of the 92nd FS."?????

Maybe just dates are not right?
