Ju.52 nr Mersa Matruh Sept. 1942

Does anyone have information ( or can suggest possible sources) relating to the shooting down of Ju.52 NQ+VA (wnr. 5480) shot down nr Mersa Matruh by three Spitfires on 29 September 1942. The aircraft was operating with 10/Ln.Regt.40 at the time. I am familiar with the report in Luftkampf zwischen Sand und Sonne by Hans Ring and Christopher Shores.

About this special "accident", there is an article on Jägerblatt 08/84, seems some pilots of JG27 were on board

That one is missing from my database. Can one of you gentlemen post details here as well? Or as a private message please? Jim P.
