8./KG-30 Loss Crew Details - 28th May 1940
Hello all,
On 28th May 1940 a Ju-88A from 8./KG-30 was on an armed reconnaissance flight when it was damaged by anti-aircraft fire causing it to crash in to the English Channel. Two members of the crew managed to swim ashore but two others (Gerhard Follrichs and Karl Geuthner) were killed (Source: The Battle of France Then & Now by Peter D. Cornwell). Would anyone know the relevant crew positions and if any ship claimed to of shot the aircraft down please?
