II./JG 3 losses on 6 August 1944

Gentlemen,

II./JG3 lost two Bf109s in aerial combat while escorting BR 21 equipped Fw190s of I./JG26 in the afternoon of 6 August 1944; according to the WASt. loss reports both Bf 109s were shot down near Chaudon which was close to the Gruppe's airfield at Nogent-le Roi.

I would like to get more detailed information concerning these two losses - who were the opponents, and at what time did the losses occur ?

All substantiated information would be gratefully appreciated.

KR
