Lw UK Target code names?

Hi to all,

In 1997 I received a copy of a personal war diary from the brother of former Uffz. Willi Quante. Willi was a recon Me 109 pilot from the "Rueck Geschwader" 1./(F)123 which later became 4./(F)123. The diary was written in the old German script and only recently have I managed to get it translated. The diary mentions many Channel recon flights plus many flights to coastal targets in the South and West. Unfortunately some of the missions flown only use the German code name for the target such as Markthalle, I know that Markthalle was Southampton.

Does anyone have a listing of these German code names and the English equivalent?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,

Melvin

Re: Lw UK Target code names?

Thanks for the link Don, not really what I require, I am actually searching for place names rather than numbered codes. Thanks again.

Regards

Melvin
