Halifax LK926 /76 Sqn

Can anyone help regarding the loss of Halifax LK926 20th December 1943. Not sure if shot down by night fighter or Flak? I understand Nachtjagd Combat Archive 1943 Part 3, has the loss due to Flak.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for responding. I could not find any luftwaffe pilot claim for LK926. Is there anyway to find out more details of the marine flak?

Regards,
Mike.

Hi,

some info about this machine: " The Halifax could be a victim of Oblt Werner Baake of 3./NJG1. He claimed a Halifax North-west of Eindhoven at 21.00 hrs."

Hi Faenor,

Thanks for responding. I believe Werner Baake's claim at 21.00 hrs was for Halifax JN974 of 78 Squadron.

Mike.
