Maj. Gen George Johnson, CO 96th TCS, C-47 pilot
https://www.af.mil/About-Us/Biograph...in-johnson-jr/
From Facebook: National WWII Glider Pilots Committee ti81014cp3o161n8 rhursgd · It is with great sadness that we are posting the death of C-47 Power Pilot Major General George Johnson. He was a strong supporter and long time friend and member of the National WWII Glider Pilot's Association/Committee. His history is extensive and details will be in the Winter Briefing, which has been held up in order to add Gen. Johnson's war history (two pages with photos) to our Memoriam. He will be missed. High Flight General
