Vickers Vincent - K6350 - loss 28 Oct 1942?

Trying to verify the story on http://www.rquirk.com/med/244sqn/244news/244newsn20.pdf from bottom p. 3 under the heading "The Locust Hunt".

In it WOP Don James describes that Vincent K6350 flipped over on 28 Oct 1942 after a bumpy landing in either S. Persia or (now) Pakistani Baluchistan. Plane had departed from RAF Sjarjah on 26 Oct 1942.
Other occupants were pilot F/Lt Riddell and a Russian entomologist. Task was to search for locust swarms.

When I look at the ORB of No. 244 Squadron for 26 Oct 1942, it mysteriously says that "2 x Bisleys (F/Lt Tiddell and Sgt. Alcock) set off on a 3 days Locust Hunt along the Persian Coast".

Perhaps a forum member has more details about Vincent K6350?
According story of Don James, this type was more likely to have been involved than a Bisley as in the ORB....

Thanks for any info.

Regards,
Leendert

Col,

Thanks for info. ORB must not have paid close attention to aircraft type that day...
