Re: loss details for Flugzeugfüher Roll off KG 54

Hi,

This is what I have:
Aug 10/11th 1944 - Ju 88 A-4 WNr 8741 - B3+BL of 3./KG 54
On return from night ops against shipping in Normandy area (Seine estuary) probably shot down by nightfighters SE of Fécamp.
FF Oblt Röll Walter KIA
BO Ogefr Letzel Adolf KIA
BF Ofw Baier Wilhelm KIA
BS Fw Reese Johannes KIA

The following might not be 100 % accurate:
Walter Röll first served with KG 257, later with KG 254. He went to Spain with the Condor Legion. Followed pilot training when he returned. Possibly served with 2(F)./33, later with I./KG 3 before going to KG 54.

Kind regards,

Rudi.
