Re: fw 200 fate?

Ofw. Mathias Esters was first reported as wounded, but this was corrected in the report of 16.04.1944 to unhurt.

Re: fw 200 fate?

W.Nr. 0126 NT+BZ was completed at Focke-Wulf in Cottbus in May 1942 but was not assigned to K.G.40 immediately. On 26 May 1943 it was handed over to DVL Adlershof (pilot Schollmeyer) for installation of a captured British ASV (Schiffssuchgerät) that was subsequently to be evaluated by Stab III./K.G. 40 at Bordeaux-Merignac by 29 June 1942.
What is your specific interest in this Fw 200 C-4, Jim, and have you anything to add on its fate from your side?
Regards,
Günther
