13th October 1940 - 2:10p.m. - Bf109E-4 - WNr.860 - 7./JG3 - White 7+I

Old Stammkennzeichen BA+DY visible.

Crashed at Cuckold Coombe, Hastingleigh, Near Ashford, Kent

Piloted by Gefr. Hubert Rungen shot down by 92 Squadron Spitfire.

Displayed in Guildhall in London, Hartlepool, and Durham,

So the public was allowed to find out which time the cockpit-clock showed...
...kind of future outlook but nonetheless somewhat too late for LW a/c though it was this early stage of war. Impressing!

I do not know David. That is the information that I managed to glean from the same site you linked. Which was probably originally sourced from the Jagdwaffe series. I do not seem to have this crash report either to check if the underlying visible Sktz is recorded on that>
