Unknown Bomb or Weapon Switch/Lever - Thoughts?
For sure this is weapons-related...as the Fl. number cooresponds to that.
Not in the master list...but the number fall in the Fl. numbers relating to the MG15. SG2 Fl. 46222 Seems to be some sort of on/off handle, that connects to an electrical device. Thoughts? Last edited by harrison987; 24th February 2018 at 21:20. |

It appears to be for a radio. The Siemens & Halske stamp I know, the other stamp next to it I have seen before but cannot name.

Perhaps Kabel Fest/Kabel Lose has to to with extending a wire antenna?

Here, I think fest means attached and lose means remove (cable) or detach.

More precisely, "fest" here means "locked, secured, tight" and "lose" just means "loose, open". This something like a bayonet lock or a "quick connect/ diconnect connector" for RF cables.

LGW = Luftfahrtgerätewerk Hakenfelde G.m.b.H., Berlin-Spandau. LGW was part of the Siemens group of companies/ consortium and were producing built in measuring instruments, shunt-field-relayes, switches, amplifiers etc.. In ww2 LGW was producing exclusively for the Luftwaffe.

Re: Unknown Bomb or Weapon Switch/Lever - Thoughts?
I found an image that might be showing this device on a MG15:
