Re: Luftwaffe aircraft panel - Help with identification...!!!

As mentioned in other forums , this is a FAKE panel.

It is one of the UK Fakes that was made in the 1970's.

Someone has grabbed an unknown scrap panel, and painted it to look like it was WW2 German.

This fake panel has been floating around for years...and the previous/current owner has 3 or 4 different ones - all fake.

The auction house that has this has been trying to sell it for months, and no one is bidding on it when it comes up, as it is a known fake.

Re: Luftwaffe aircraft panel - Help with identification...!!!

I have looked across numerous vehicles, British as well as other European makes and it does not seem to fit either.

The 1930's/40's Morgan seems to have a similar shape although it is definitely not a match either. Not to mention that visible riveting does not appear on any of the vehicles that I could see.

cheap hinge on the right side indicates not airplane.

Cheap square nuts are also not German.

Those are the same square nuts on the other fake panels the previous owner had.
