Liberator Identity

Interesting looking B-24 with a strange looking apparatus in place of the forward gun turret. Some sort of radar installation? Could it be a PB4Y?
The name on the fuselage as far as I can determine is "The Sad Penny" Not on B24Best Web as far as I can see.

Any ideas as to its identity?

Re: Liberator Identity

The Bad Penny (named for the saying "The bad penny always come back").
