Richardson and Sanderson MIA 92 squadron RAF
Three years ago I asked for information about Richardson and JH Sanderson, both of whom led flights in 92 Squadron in late 1941. I have not been able to find any details of these pilots despite their having both served in combat.
It seems bizarre that neither would have a career trail but maybe I am looking in the wrong direction. Perhaps they served in the Far East? Details of their careers before and after service with 92 squadron in the Autum of 1941 gratefully accepted. K

Having looked at 92's ORB for 41 I can say the F/Lt. Sanderson reported for duty on the 15th August, '41. He is first mentioned on 18th September flying Spitfire AB935. In November he was taken to Hospital and posted to SHQ Digby.
As for F/Lt. Richardson ! he seems to be first mentioned on October 13th with Spitfire AA751. Hope this is of some help Last edited by Alex Smart; 1st November 2024 at 00:10.
