Hptm.
For some times I research for my site www.JG300.de the history of the former fighter pilot. From his son (with same name), I received some very interesting photos and some details of his career, but there are gaps and inconsistencies. (Please see article on website) Is anyone able to give me as more details? The aforementioned fighters worked variously the JG300, JG301, NJG2, NJG5. |

Re: Hptm. Graf A. Rességuier de Miremont: JG300
the Wappen shield has been known for some years now as belonging to IV./JG 301 more like 10./JG 301 in Rumania as only this staffel with Black numerals has been covered.
Burkhard sorry but your site is incorrect on the background history of the man, IV./JG 301 was in Rumania defending the country and oilfields from March 44 till the end of July 1944 not in 1943 as you have posted in the Autumn. Please make the corrections and this is also going to confuse you as to the rest of the man's history as well. E ~

Re: Hptm. Graf A. Rességuier de Miremont: JG300
Quote:
Doug Stankey wrote "Canceled?" I wrote "Maybe not; look the G-12 picture on Bobo site" - I know my 2nd degree writings aren't that simple to understand... even for me. So I try to explain better: A "link" did exist well before the computer technology came; I should have write a "relation" between that "canceled" and the said picture; of course, I added "MAYBE". Means that G-12 is MAYBE a JFS one, MAYBE a JG104 one. Indeed, you already did put a (net) "link" when starting this thread. I saw and opened it and I supposed, when writing my answer, Doug did too. I had no need to put it back in my post... Well, enough! Cheers, Franck. |
