Hello,

the man on the photo is well a "RAF", so was not the author of the letter dating from 1918 ...
Would be interesting to know what is written on the back of the picture .

From AIR78, only one man named Jack Ringwood served between 1918 - 1975.

843261 Jack Ringwood DFM, rear gunner on a 625 Sqn Lancaster (ND461) lost on ops to Berlin, 27-28 January, 1944
