Leonid Rybkin claims?

Hello,

Leonid Rybkin is credited to have claimed 1 and 2 shared in Spain:

1 CR.32
1 shared Do 17
1 shared He 111

Does anyone have dates on these (there exist several different dates on the internet)

Also accoording to some sources he claimed some victories in WWII:
1 shared Ju 88 on 1941-10-07
1 shared Ju 88 on 1941-10-22
He has possibly another victory (shared?) during WWII?
Can anyone verify this?
At the time, he was CO of 34 IAP.

Also he seems to have served in China in 1938. Can anyone verify this?

Many questions, but he seems slightly mysterious to me (and perhaps I don't really understand some of the Russian translations…)!

Best wishes/Håkan

Håkan,

I do not have any further information on this pilot's claims in Spain, but I can send you some information about his service record from Soviet documents. He commanded the 105 IAD PVO (air defence fighter division) during the fighting in the Caucasus in 1942.

Kind regards,

Dan

Re: Leonid Rybkin claims?

Hello Miguel and Dan,

Miguel - I've checked your excellent excel and it was the start to my questions! It's strange that such a high-ranking officer as Rybkin not has left better records on his combat career!

Dan - I would be very interested on his service records!

Best wishes/Håkan

Miguel

Escuse the question, but what Excel is Håkan talking about?
Cannot find anything on the 'net.

Cheers

Re: Leonid Rybkin claims?

Hello Håkan,
about Leonid Rybkin you need to ask the forum member Urusut (Oleg). He wrote an article about this pilot.
Best regards,
Kirill

Hello Håkan,

I am back after a busy period - may I ask for your e-mail, so that I can send you the data? You can post it here or send it to me. My own e-mail address is listed at the bottom of the following link - http://www.ww2.dk/Luftwaffe%20Research.html . I am not putting it right here in a possibly futile attempt to keep it out of reach of automated spam systems which scan forums like this one.

Kind regards,

Dan
