Crashed Ju88 21./22.11.1944
Hello!
Does anybody have informations about Ju88 losses over southern Germany in the night of 21./22.11.1944? Were there possibly Ju88 - losses of IV/NJG 6 in connection to the aschaffenburg raid of the RAF? I'm researching the crash of a Ju88 in that night in the Aschaffenburg region. Regional sources are telling that it was that type of plane and that all three crew members were able to bail out before the plane crashed near the village of Weckbach, near Amorbach/Miltenberg. Now I'm researching the names of the crew members. Greetings Wolf |

Re: Crashed Ju88 21./22.11.1944
Hi Thunderbolt
On the evening of November 21, 1944, 19.45h, a Ju88G of 1/NJG 4 was shot down at Miltenberg by its own flak. The crew could jump off with the parachute. The pilot was Uffz Pankow, I don't know the names of the other crewmembers. The aircraft code was 3C + DJ. best wishes JoMe |
