Re: Uffz. Herbert Schlott

Dear Urusut,
I have a question about Herbert Schlott. Was he perhaps related to Else Hannelore Schlott (in the attachment)?

On Ancestry.de I found information that Friedrich Rupp had been married to Else Hannelore Schlott, even though the (posthumous, as he died on 15 May 1943 and the evaluation was written on 24 May, as he was still considered missing) evaluation of Friedrich Rupp I got from the Bundesarchiv in Freiburg mentioned that he was unmarried. I contacted the pastor in Wehr and he answered that Friedrich had been posthumously married to Else Hannelore Schmidt on 11 October 1943, so that she could receive a pension as a war widow. Is there any information about Herbert Schlott (for example, about his hometown, his family, etc.)?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,
Teresa
