Lt Franz von Thienen Adlerflycht

Hello all,

On 24 June 1944 Leutnant Franz von Thienen Adlerflycht was shot down by P-47's near Caen. He belonged to 5./JG 5 and was flying with 5./JG 3 at that time. How can please share the namentliche Verlustmeldung with me? Thank you for your help.

Best wishes,
Rob

Succéda à son grand- père le 27.7.1942 ; Leutnant der Luftwaffe.

Re: Lt Franz von Thienen Adlerflycht

Thank you Teresa and Matti for the info. It seems that the various sources have a conflicting fate; KIA, MIA or POW. Who can confirm his fate? Thank you.

Best wishes,
Rob
