Liberator I in RAF Service

While the Fortress I in RAF service seems to be pretty well covered, there seems to be little if anything about the Liberator I (and other early marks) in RAF service. Anybody have any suggestions for good sources of reference materials, pictures, etc.? Drawings of course would be the frosting on the cake, but anything you could suggest would be much appreciated......

Re: Liberator I in RAF Service

I don't know of any special book about the Liberator I but in my opinion the best book about the Liberator in RAF (including the Commonweatlth) is the Air Britain book 'The Liberator in RAF and Commonwealth service' by James Oughton.

Unfortunately it seems to be sold out but if you live in UK you can probably borrow it from a local library.

Cheers
Stig

Re: Liberator I in RAF Service

Thank you all for your assistance. Hopefully someday someone will put it all together and assemble a nice book on the subject. In the meantime, it's very much catch-as-catch-can.......
