The first name in a Flugbuch??

Hello,
I just got a Flugbuch but unfortunately I cannot read the first name.
The last name is Querl, I can see that somewhere else in the book.
Can anyone read the first name....my guess would be Gerhard or Herbert.

Thank you in advance,

Christian

There's also a thread on the Wehrmacht-awards forum where you can post for translation help (if nobody can do so here). Best of luck

Hi Christian

First name is "Herbert", "Herbe" are clearly readable in this Sütterlin-writing.

best wishes
