What is your source for the loss reason? GenQu says Absturz nach Luftkampf indicating that it was after air combat. Regards, Andreas B

Ahhh... but I have seen the holy grail! And it is painted RLM 76 all over with a large Mickey Mouse on the side, there is a familiar pilot in front of it and it has an Erla Haube!

I have the NVM. PlQ 49114 20 km east of Wertjatschy in Bf 109 G-2, 13487 10+ (Black 1, white 0). Hit by flak witnessed by Hfw Fischer
