RSS Ith September 1943/April 1944

Hello,

I have a Flugbuch from an HStf. Sorbe, RSS.

I have looked around but had no luck finding out, what this means.
It's a glider tug school at Ithwiesen/Germany.

Does anyone know about this?

Thanks in advance,

Christian

That's an SS rank, isn't it — Hauptsturmführer — so could RSS be Reichsführer-SS? There was a communications flight at Himmler's disposal, from what I remember.
