Re: Hurricane Losses in 1938

For L1579 I found pilot Hugh Henry May;

For L1620: (definitively) lost 19-5-40 with P/O H. Dunn.

Regards,

Leendert

Re: Hurricane Losses in 1938

Hello Leendert,
Thank you for you reply.

Re L1620 and the 19th May 1940 loss ?

Yes I too have P/O. H.J.L.Dunn as Shot down nr Orchies, pilot wounded, he baled out.
But was this aircraft a rebuild ?
As I also have it as being in a crash on the 14th September 1938 with its pilot Sgt. Thomas F.D.Dewdney killed at Holbeach Ranges, Lincs.
Both of these are 87 Sqn losses.

Thank you.
Alex
