Could be this but there were others crashes this date, including one missing <crashing at St.Alban> (UK or France?)

The German unit has finished its flight in a field and then capsized. According to the police report, there was nobody on the plane.
Or was it he was trying to land on the ground in Conches Ouche? The crew he parachuted? This base was used by the bombers.

Hello. I have some interesting information regarding this topic. Not so long ago I've bought photoalbum which belonged to Oblt.z.S. Otto Metzner. He started his career on Linienschiff `SCHLESIEN`. Here is his Äquatortaufschein award doc.

He was an observer in Ku.Fl.Gr. 806. You can see him on the group photo together with their commander Obstlt Wolfgang von Wild. Also some photos with He111.

The album ends in 1940. I would be very interested in any information about planecrash and about this man. thanks.
