Info please JU88A-5 (0293) Stab. II./KG77 coded (3Z+DC) shot down Penshurst, Kent. 27th September 1940. Crew; Fw. A. Keller and Uffz. E. Brodbeck baled out POW. Fw. Hermann. Adler KIA, Oberlt. Karl-Heinz Lutze KIA. Any information on this aircraft or especially how to contact the Brodbeck or KIA crew NOK, Or any living KG77 personnel with a view to contacting the sole survivor would be greatly appreciated. A/C probably that claimed by Sergeant H. J. Davidson of 249 Squadron and possibly attacked also by P/O D.B.H.McHardy of No 229 Squadron. Any verification or combat reports very welcome please.

Junkers Ju88A (293). Sortie to London. Shot down by ground defences and RAF fighters. Crashed in flames on Vexour Farm, Penshurst, near Tonbridge, Kent, 3.30pm.
Fw. Hermann Adler (B) killed (buried at Cannock Chase, 1-5-146). Em: 71038/69, *06.04.1907, Neustettin.
Oblt. Karl-Heinz Lutze (FF) missing. Em: 53577/54, *17.12.1916, Zechin.
Fw. Alexander Keller (Bf), bailed-out and captured. Em: 58240/30, *24.02.1914, Neudorf/Kattowitz.
Uffz. Eugen Brodbeck (Bs) bailed-out and captured. Em: 71037/17, *30.03.1919, Heilbronn/Böckingen.
Aircraft 3Z+DC a write-off.

The chances of any survivors still being alive are slim to zero-look how many RAF aircrew are still with us. You can download copies of the combat reports from the National Archives site for a cost
