Hi, Eric

What period are you interested in, and what kind of numbers woul be sufficient?

I have the number of D-9 aircraft delivered and taken over by the Luftwaffe for Dez 1944 through March 1945

(specified also D-9/EZ 42, D-9/R11, D-11, D-13 etc)

Hello all,

Should this aircraft: 17-2-45 FIUG1/Gr. Sudost - Bf 109 G-10 163055 10% Notldg. inf. tech mangel Kralup, actually be Bf 109 G-10 613055? Or is it actually G-6 163055?

Re: Fl.Ü.G 1 pilots

Hi Steve,

163055 and a G-10 is what is on the report, all these can be subject to errors which ofton are corrected in later summary sheets but for 1945 the lists are incomplete. Additionally some sheets are very hard to read I could not see any later changes on what I can read,

Re: Fl.Ü.G 1 pilots

The Bf 109G-10 WNr.163055 could really be WNr.613055 as Steve already said. WNr.613055 was test-flown at Kralup on the 09.02.45 by the testpilot Nicolas Mörtl.

No offense meant to the poster, but didn't Eric pass away a couple of years ago? Eric was one of the first guys I was in contact with on this board at its original site. Eric was a great guy and very helpful to me, as I would like to think I was to him with our exchanges of information. I was very saddened by his loss. I appreciate the 'In Memoriam' thing, but why the anonymity, or posting in his name? Again, no offense intended. I still miss his input to this site.

As to the FlÜG1 topic, there is a hand-written listing of their 109 losses out there, or at least the fatalities of said unit - I was very fortunate to get a copy of this many years ago, but the Schulen losses list lots of other 109s with non-fatal losses, along with many other aircraft types and casualties through Sep-44, much more than I would have expected. Jim,
the loss of Eric struck a lot of us. But this topic was started I think by him alone, while he was among us. This is just not closed topic which popped up from forgottneness when posted by Junior member Darth Wader.
R.I.P. Eric....
