Just wonder about the source, becuse I hv the same data but no source, further the loss is not in the gen. returns

hello dears,
I've heard the tales from first hand people, The Ju-52 was carrying crates and drums, it was unloaded after the crash, not really a crash however since the plane has just gone too far on the runway.

Hello Dears,
As far as I look forward, my feeling is growing about the use by the Luftwaffe of Vachefontaine as a Feldflugplatz for a week at all but, it seem that it was then used as a collecting place for aircrafts downed in the vicinity.
After all, they liked our region ;-). Some time after that, they began the construction of the Florennes air base from scratch. It was the nest of the Nachtjagd guys of Wilhelm Herget.
There is a very interesting museum up there, there is a big england blitz carved in stone, it was an ornament inthe pilot mess, and thank to 2 nice peoples, this was saved from destruction after the war.
