June 6th 1944 B-17's of the 15th Air Force take part in Operation Frantic. Which Bomb Group please?
 

On June 6th 1944 a group of B-17's escorted by the 325th Fighter Group in Russia attacked targets in Galati, Romani.

I am trying to find out which bomb group of the 15th Air Force were involved in that mission.

I am thinking it was the 483rd, but wonder if someone has information to confirm this?

This report here of 325th FG says all four Bomb Groups participating in Operation Frantic (2nd, 97th, 99th and 483rd) were involved on 6 June 1944: http://www.325thfg.org/shutmiss.htm
