|
June 6th 1944 B-17's of the 15th Air Force take part in Operation Frantic. Which Bomb Group please?
On June 6th 1944 a group of B-17's escorted by the 325th Fighter Group in Russia attacked targets in Galati, Romani.
I am trying to find out which bomb group of the 15th Air Force were involved in that mission. I am thinking it was the 483rd, but wonder if someone has information to confirm this? Thanks for any help. MP.
