John Antony Willcock
Good afternoon to you all,
I am looking for data and relatives of A. J. Willcock http://www.cwgc.org/search/casualty_...sualty=2814247 who was killed on 6.8.43 in a mustang over Brittany. I was told he had a 6 month old baby when he crashed: can anybody help me to trace him, or his family ? I would be very grateful for this. Thanks in advance, GC |
Re: John Antony Willcock
I'm send you a PM with some details I found via ancestry.com, rather than places the childs name on the internet.

Dp Burke: you are right concerning names. Thank you for your PM which is very appreciated. I just answered you with a PM as well;
Paul: thank you also for the Aircraft info. Do you know where I could find picture of this aircraft, or a picture of an A36 of this squadron ? I am grateful for your answers. Best regards to both of you. GC |
Re: John Antony Willcock
it was already explained that this aircraft was a Mustang I, not an A-36 or P-51.
The old thread http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=17939 One of the initial batches built for RAF and not a direct P-51 production aircraft. http://www.uswarplanes.net/p51p82.html 192.com is a directory website for finding peoples addresses in the UK |
