Hi Folks,
Wondering which B-29 crew did famous actor & nose gunner, Charles Bronson belong to and which Superfortress(es) he flew over Japan?

I know he was with the 39th BG and after the war he invited his crew to watch a show (:) in Hollywood, in the 60s. The link below has some information.http://39th.org/39th/aerial/61st/Cre...buchinski.html

C. D. Buchinski AKA Charles Bronson was a nose gunner in the 39BG's Weather Observation Sqn., Capt. Ken Trow's crew in "Old Overcast" (still looking for serial), they flew a mission every 3 days and Trow said only 5 completed by the end. They only arrived on Guam in July.
The name may not have been painted on.
