code L-UV on a typhoon
 

Hi All,
Anyone heard of a code L-UV on a typhoon, tried a few internet searches but no luck.
Codes are on a ww2 drawing, but on the other aircraft drawings I have seen, the codes are 'real codes' but I can't trace anything on L-UV.

Hi Jerry. No known 'UV' codes on Typhoons. Nor any known 'LUV' personal code (which with a 'U' in it seems a bit unlikely).

Possibly a misinterpretation of 'OV' (197 Sqn) or 'UW' (3TEU, later 55 OTU). Is there a serial on the drawing?

Thanks for the comments, you might be right with the 'OV' it sounds possible.
Sadly no serial visible.
Yes we are settling quite well, fingers crossed it keeps going well, I now have the boxes with all my notes/books/etc, but just can't get into them ... yet..
