November seems to be a good guess: Eagle didn't last, white clothes for mechanicals and obviously it was cold time.
Note that the emblem is flipped horizontaly comparing with the pin and other - bad - existing pictures.

Sorry for the sentence which is not correct. It is said in LiF N°6 that "Photographs confirm that the "winged beast" was used until at least September 1941."
Why not if these said photographs are well captioned. I've never seen, yet that beast on 1941 camouflaged machines.
But it's possible on Erg. JG 26 machines. Few months ago we got a picture on eBay, taken at cazaux.
