"Kübler was rammed from the sky but it wasn't a I-153." - Michael, there were no I-153 type aircraft in that area at all. But it was the Yak-7b fighter, which was produced by plant No. 153 of the NKAP. By the way, the crash sites of both planes were found (they collided on a collision course). The Yak-7b engine jammed and the pilot jumped out, but the wing of the Bf-109G-2 was torn off, the German pilot went missing.
