Andy possibles BE490, BE491 (274Sqn.) or BE493, BE494 (80Sqn.); the cocardes have been over-painted so personnel may be Yugoslav ? 491 went to Turkey.

Photo 5. B-24D 41-23785 (98BG Ninth AF) probably at Benina Main Benghazi in Libya 1943; collided with 41-11806 over sea on mission June 13 1943, both crews killed. MACRs 15649 - 15547. Sand-Neutral Grey; must be lost before aircraft letter applied. She just missed Ploesti.
