Re: NJG3

Hi Steve

With Berg I know nothing more than that his total confirmed claims was three. His low rank leaves open the posiblity though slight that he was a bordfunker. Seems strange that after his three we here nothing more of him over the last two years of war.

With Holtfreter. His total was one confirmed claim. I would comment on him as above.

Rogge. was born on 24th June 1921 and had five confirmed claims(III./NJG2 also) as his last claim was in January 1945, and I can find no loss for him i think he survived.

Mangelsdorf was born on 16th September 1915, and died on 23rd June 1975. Ten confimed claims(four with III./NJG2).

Sorry, but I don't know what type of aircraft they flew.

Regards

Johannes
