Re: AR234B-2 140312 Stavanger
Yes, you are correct this aircraft was surrendered to the RAF at Stavanger. It was then given to the USAAF and given code letters
'USA 50' and later code letters 'FE1010' in the USA. Are you trying to find the Luftwaffe code and the unit that used it? Could it have been with KG 76

Re: AR234B-2 140312 Stavanger
Hi guys...
According to a photo on page 126 of "War Prizes, The Album" by P.Butler [Midland, 2006], a previously unpublished photo of Ar234B-2, WNr.140312 USA50 shows its original Luftwaffe code F1+DR. The photo was apparently taken while the aircraft was being ferried from Stravanger to Melun in June 1945. With thanks to CDY over on the LEMB for spotting this... Ar234B-2 140581 - probably 8H+CH of 1.(F)/33, later possibly AM229 Ar234B-2 140596 - coded F1+HT Ar234B-2 140608 - coded T1+GL of FAGr.1, later AM25 The superb little booklet "Profiles in Norway No.5, Ar234B-2" by Frithjof Ruud is a great source of info on the selection of Ar234's found in Norway and their subsequent fate...
