263 Squadron Roster
Hi,
Continuing on with my 263 Sqn Roster can anyone tell me when the following pilots joined the squadron? Names and numbers as I have them. Flt Lt A B McCully, RCAF J/16549 out 24/03/45 Wt Off McNinley Sgt Frank Mortan 580250 lost 09/01/41 Wt Off J J Morgan Sgt Hugh Leo O'Neil out 08/10/41 to 137 Sqn Sgt Michael Peskett out 08/10/41 to 137 Sqn Fly Off A R S Proctor Flt Sgt John Barrie Purkis 1388276 Plt Off N P Simpson Plt Off Christopher Peter van Zeller 109495 Flt Sgt W E Watkins 'Billy' Sgt David John Williams 1314587 lost 12/02/43 Any help appreciated. Alex

Hi,
Don’t know if you have this information or are interested, there were two RAAF Members who served with the 263 Squadron and were KIA They were P.O Maxwell Tylney Cotton DFC 408204 KIA 15 June 1943 Channel Islands F.O. Robert Bruce Tuff 409257 KIA 22 February 1944 English Channel There may have been others, who died by accident, illness etc. These are the only two as far as I can establish who were KIA Kind regards Ross
