Unusual Bf 109 cockpit assembly
Can you help to clear the unusual cockpit assembly - maybe a camera mounted on a Bf 109?
As far as I know, it is a Bf 109 (G-2/G-6) from 4./JG 51, showing H.E. Bob (left) and Borchers in the Reichsverteidigung, winter 1943. TIA, Horst Last edited by Horst Kube; 13th January 2014 at 16:41. |

It is a camera.
You can see opening in the fairing, the film drum, what looks like a multiple (three) lens type camera? Ruy

A "zoom"-lens was not yet invented in those days...
