322-3313 = 43-2204 reportedly MIA 28th December 1943 Near Aisega, New Britain. MACR 1502 475th FG 431st FS. What brought about the question of the serial number please? Alex |

actually that's Bob Petit's a/c. Rex's P-38G was #125 ''Daisy". |

I am doing researches for a colour profile of this particular P-38 that took part in the "Yamamoto mission".
I know it was Petit's mount, Barber's plane having refused to start. |
