Lt. Erich Richter Abschuss 20 December 1942

Gentleman,

On the evening of 20th December 1942, crashed at 20.29 hrs the Lancaster ED347 WS"N" of 9 squadron, at Den Hout NW of Oosterhout in Holland.
There is a possibility, that the Lancaster were shot down by Lt Erich Richter of 2.NJG1.

Was the Bordfunker, Obgefr. Karl Pōttker.
Flying with the Bf110 G9+GK Wnr.4752
Who can confirm this.

Any help is welcome.

Hello Quercus,

Are you by accident Jan Jolie because he did sent me a mail recently with the same question and this mail is answered that same day...

Richter was indeed the nightfighter pilot who did shot down that Lancaster

All the best, Marcel Hogenhuis
