Russian bombing of Germany 1944-45
Dear Colleagues,
A quick question; I have for some time been looking for accessible data on Russian air force activity in NE Germany (esp Mecklanberg Vorpommern) in support of ground forces which involved bombing. There were certainly some air attacks involving bombing (eg Oranienburg). Date, obviously, would be December 1944 through May 1945. Are there collated secondary sources which indicate who was doing what, when, and especially what calibre/nos/fusing was involved? And are these accessible. Or do I need to get myself to Podolsk, Moscow, or where? I suspect that there is'nt much, even now, but I live in hope and all leads would be received with gratitude. Best wishes ChrisG |
