Re: Me262 new photo and .. WNr.

Tis is definitely a Me 262A from Mtt Regensburg-Obertraubling production. I read WNr 500269. Many Me 262s of this WNr range were completed as Me 262A-1/U3 recce jets at FWE Eger. This Me 262 however does not feature the characteristic camo and the WNr is stencilled above the horizontal stabilizer, so it was completed as a regular Me 262A at Obertraubling-Waldwerk "Stauffen".
Looking at the multi-storeyed buildings appearing in the background to the right, the airfield is definitely not Obertraubling.

Regards

My thought was "263" as well. Could this be Muenchen-Riem?

I don´t think so. The building seems to be bare brick with a tile roof. So either in Northern Germany or a Reichsbahn building.
Riem was at the outskirts of Munich at that time with barely any buildings around except from the Airport buildings (flat inclined roofs) or small one-family-houses.
